Important announcement….. Some of you may already be aware that Acts of Kindness is closing permanently on 23rd December 2024. This decision was not taken lightly and we know that, for a number of our supporters, it may come as a shock. The charity has been running for more than 10 years and, as many of you know, it was started by Kerry Snuggs. Kerry did an amazing amount of work, the charity grew and helped so many people in need across the community; highlights include community projects, welfare assistance for families in need or crisis and food parcel deliveries during the pandemic and since. Acts of Kindness was recognised in 2021 with the Queens Award, a huge honour for all concerned; every volunteer should be proud of their contribution to this achievement. As a charity, Acts of Kindness has been able to help those in need due to the generosity of you, our supporters, together with our fantastic band of volunteers, some of whom have been with the charity for many years. If you are one of our wonderful monthly donors, please let your bank know to stop your donations - many thanks. Therefore, from all of us at the 'hub' we would like to thank each and every one of you. We are here until the 23rd December and so we will still be helping as many as we can.
